[Update Notes] Features Removed on ‘January 09, 2023’

EXO Security Update Notes
The following features were removed with the January 09, 2023 update:

1. Removed IE from admin page accessible browsers.
– Applicable plans: Endpoint protection / All-in-one protection
– Scope: Admin page
Following Microsoft’s official end of support for Internet Explorer (IE) browser on June 15, 2022, EXO Security admin page support for IE has ended due to security vulnerabilities and to maintain a stable environment. Please connect using web browsers such as Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.

2. Removed the Data Security tab from the dashboard.
– Applicable plans: Endpoint protection
– Scope: Admin page
While we provided functionality to track internal file storage and export locations, this service has been discontinued due to low demand.

3. Google Drive has been excluded from file export control.
– Applicable plans: All-in-one protection
– Scope: Admin page
– Supported OS: Windows
Due to changes in Google Drive’s operation method, we reassessed technical support feasibility and confirmed that controlling Google Drive is no longer possible with the current application control method. Unfortunately, we must temporarily suspend support.

4. Removed the exclusion function from device control monitoring.
– Applicable plans: All-in-one protection
– Supported OS: Windows
The exclusion function that prevented logging of monitored targets has been removed due to low demand and potential confusion in policy settings.
